So this is nice and all, but not a whole lot of shops

*installing the info screens, camera's, lighting, and putting the final touches on his small shop. Which at the moment just has a kiosk*

So, shouldn't we do something regarding the new entrance to the resort? If the plaza is the central hub, shouldn't the entry and exit points be here? That way new arrivals go through here before getting into the resort? Also. we should redesign the layout with the resort being at the far end of the plaza. Think castle in the distance.

Oh relax, you'll be fine... Judy... do me a favor, see if we can't hire someone to run the lobby's front desk, since you'll be running your cafe for the most part. As for the shops. Make sure everyone understands that without a room key, they're unable to make a purchase or utilize any of the services. Can't have just anyone taking advantage of this place. And if it's a temporary card, than they need a sponsor with them as well.

It is and it isn't. All doors that would go to the resort, instead take you here, You just can't actually do anything unless you either live here, or have a sponsor with you. Again, do you really want just anyone coming in here and having access to advanced tech, or anything else that's here. Can you imagine, someone coming from a world that hasn't even discovered electricity yet, coming in and buying a tv getting home and not being able to turn the damned thing on?

Just means you gotta make friends with a resident, and that resident needs to decide whether or not it's a good idea for a hot headed warlord from a time of bows and arrows, should have access to regenerative armor and particle weapons. He goes home, and in his world is now a god among his people. Now you just unleashed a potential tyrant who will dominate the whole world. You see my point? Not everyone should have access to everything. But anyone can show up... provided they can find the entrance.

We could digitize the room key guest pass. Since everyone's naked how they going to hold the pass? Carry it everywhere? We can do a quick subdermal injection in the lobby, and it'll identify them as a guest or resident, we can use a computer to track or upgrade the status. And... if you really wanted to, even track their location.

That's not a bad idea... But you know we'd have to retroactively inject existing residents with it as well. Honestly... that'll help with keeping pets and...... yeah, get to work on it. Judy, get with Fritz and get everyone their "shots". Get back to me when it's done. And I still want you to find a new hire to run the front desk and train them. You'll just have to close your shop while you're in the lobby training for a while.
